holy mash-tramony

the story

walter and his colleagues would like to reach out to the design community to inspire a flash mob of sorts. they believe that adobe indesign and illustrator could be seamlessly combined to provide its users with a tool that outperforms the current models. the gnomes know how frustrating it can be when a client wants to frankenstein two designs together, however this mash-up has been a long time coming… think evolution. if you could pick and choose tools and features from each program to include in this master program, what would they be?

there are a few other suggestions that the gnomes would be appreciate, including:

1 // multi-page and type features of indesign
2 // indesign’s percentage scales and % of original
3 // indesign’s text box “snap” feature
4 // illustrator’s wire-frame/outline [command + y] feature
5 // indesign’s hyperlinker, export to flash, and add video / multimedia
6 // indesign’s ability to place multiple images at the same time

p.s. adobe, we hope you are listening… it’s a new decade and time for tools to match.
